This was the quote on my Original Spice tea this evening (decaf of course). It’s not the most astonishing or clever of quotes; Solon always gets right to the point, but it is good, true and often easy to ignore. You have found a good friend indeed who will offer constructive criticism when needed. Speak the truth in love, of course. There is a little thing called “tact” that helps the medicine go down. To offer a practical example, a good friend of mine might tactfully admonish my late blogging habits. Actually, forget the tact in this instance. I’m dwindling down to about two posts per month, blatant negligence.
