The entire house is breathing a huge sigh of relief as my dad finally got home from his two-week trip to India. He met up with some friends of ours there, originally from India, but they have been living here for the last couple of years. Though he is very much a frequent flyer, it seems as though it was a very impacting trip. It’s fun to watch how people react to little things when they get home from a trip abroad. He spent about five minutes marveling over the new rustic place mats mom bought for the table, and I marveled at the marvel. I’m excited to hear stories (maybe he’ll even type one up for me to post), but for now I think I’ll have to just let him catch up with the jet lag and familiar food. Good to have to you back, daddy!
P.S. Don’t think I’ve ever posted pictures of people here in two years. Meet my family! Part of it anyway…

Glad your dad made it home safely! Love the saris!
Wow! You have really posted a lot since I’ve been by last.
I’ve been really busy with college, church, and work. Ahh… life is so complex these days.
Anyway, hope you’re doing well. I enjoy reading your blog. You always have an encouraging post when I come by. Keep up the good work.
God Bless,
Erik B.
Good to be back! Missed my family so much.
Actually I was marveling at your mother not the placemats. I think they have a psychological term for that odd behavior…
You girls look like “pillars carved to adorn a palace”. (Psalms 144:12)… very beautiful.
Me? I look like a pole used to prop up a sagging shed roof!
Erik: I know! This has been a pretty blog-o-rific month around here. =] I hardly had time during the winter, so I guess I’m making up for that now! I know what you mean. Life is kind of a whirlwind at this age…
Dad: *shakes head* Why not a ski pole or a pole vaulting pole?
